The Leader+ Programme provides resources for projects presented by Local Action Groups (LAGs), which involve a number of public and private partners. There are 132 active LAGs (LAG Information Sheet) in Italy working across over half of the Italian territory. Each LAG elaborates and implements a Local Development Plan (Piano di Sviluppo Locale -PSL) addressing a central theme which is normally tied to the identity and/or the natural and cultural heritage and specific qualities of the area involved. This section of the portal provides information on LAGs and Local Development Plans and it can be used by LAGs to promote their activities, events, on-going initiatives and to point out and share successful experience, best practices, ask questions and suggest issues for debates in the Direct Contact Service area. |
